Fire safety instruction
Most public utility facilities and collective housing should be eqipped with a fire safety instruction, containing, as follows:
conditions and methods of building protection against fire
identification of fire fighting equipment and methods of their maintenance
instruction how to proceed in the event of a fire
information on the evacuation of people during a fire
methods to familiarize users with the content of the document
facility plans along with the graphic data
The fire safety instructions should be updated at least every two years plus each time the fire protection conditions are changed. The owners, managers or users of buildings are responsible for ordering the development of the document, and they are obliged to comply with fire technical, construction and technological requirements, supply the building with the necessary equipment, provide the facility users with the possibility of evacuation, familiarize employees with the regulations and properly prepare the building for the action in case of fire spread.
